The Blair County Veterans Affairs office operates by appointment only. Office hours are Monday - Friday, 8 am to 4 pm. If you wish to make an appointment, please call 693-3160. If your call is not answered, please leave a message and a return call will be made as soon as possible.
This office does not maintain a DD214 file. A copy of the DD214 may be obtained through the Deeds/Wills office but only if the veteran filed the document there upon return from service. Otherwise, you can visit www.dmva.pa.gov and click the request DD214 link.
If you need to check the status of a claim for VA compensation or any other direct VA questions, you may call the VA at 1-800-827-1000. You can reach the VA pension (aid & attendance) office at 1-877-294-6380. You may also visit www.ebenefits.va.gov. for compensation and pension (aid & attendance).
This office does not issue veteran ID cards. You may obtain one by visiting www.va.gov. Go to the Records tab then "get veterans ID card".
