Tax Claim Bureau Office Information:
The Director of the Blair County Tax Claim Bureau, announced the following new procedures and practices for the office:
Payments can be made by the following:
- Cash
- Money Orders
- Certified Checks
- Personal Checks
No Personal Checks will be accepted after April 1st on any property set for an upcoming tax sale (2 or more years of delinquent taxes) if you are part of that sale.
Payments can be mailed to the address listed below; we ask that you put your Control number on your check or money order. If you would like a receipt you will need to send a self-addressed stamped envelope.
The office will continue to accept one-time installment payment plans for qualified delinquent taxpayers.

Questions concerning your current year taxes should be directed to your local tax collector whose contact information can be accessed via the above link. The office will continue to accept installment payment plans for qualified delinquent taxpayers.
